    1. What are my purchase and payment options?

      • Credit Card: Your credit card will be charged as soon as you check out. We accept American Express, VISA, or MasterCard.
      • Purchase Order / Billing (online): Towards the end of the checkout process, a screen will appear with a pull-down window called "Select Shipping Method." Choose "Bill Me" as your shipping method if you are ordering via purchase order or you want to be billed. Enter your purchase order number in the field below the pull-down window. HCProfessor purchasers will get their user name and password within one to three business days after HCPro receives payment.
      • Fax or Mail Orders: If you would rather fax or mail your order in, you must follow two steps: a) Select "Fax Order In" as your payment method (instead of American Express, VISA, or Mastercard). This method of payment is found toward the end of your online purchase process. b) A form will appear on the Web site. Simply fill out all of the information, print out the order form, and fax the form to 800/639-8511, or mail the form to HCPro, Order Processing, 200 Hoods Lane, Marblehead, MA 01945.
      • Telephone, Live Customer Service, or E-mail Orders: Please call our Customer Service Department at 877/727-1728 (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time) to order over the telephone or to ask questions. You may also e-mail orders or questions to customerservice@hcpro.com.

    2. Will I be charged sales tax?

      If you are purchasing on behalf of a non-profit and/or tax-exempt facility, please call our Customer Service Center at 877/727-1728.

    3. How will I know that my order has been processed? What are the shipping procedures?

      First, you will receive an e-mail confirmation note saying that we've received your order.

      Second, the shipping procedures for HCPro products are different from the shipping procedures for vendor products sold on the Healthcare Marketplace. The procedures affect the time it takes for products to arrive to you.

      Your order will be shipped within 5 business days via FedEx. We will not ship to P.O. Boxes. UPS will provide a separate confirmation e-mail with a URL to track your shipment (provided we have your e-mail on record). Newsletter subscriptions will begin with a free first issue within two weeks. Paid subscriptions will begin with the next month's issue. For questions regarding subscription start dates, please contact our customer service center at 877/727-1728 or e-mail customerservice@hcpro.com.

      All orders for vendor products are shipped directly from our vendors. Order information is available from our customer service representatives at customerservice@hcpro.com or 877/727-1728.

    4. What are the shipping charges?

      The shipping fee is a flat $18 for all regular orders within the United States (no matter how many products you purchase under one order), except for audioconferences, special reports, and individual newsletters. The cost of "Second Business Day Shipping" is an additional $30, for a total of $48.The shipping fee for products less than $100 is $10.

      For live audioconferences, materials downloaded from the Internet will not be charged for shipping, but your order will be assessed a $5 processing fee. Live and "combo" orders received on or after a specified deadline (check individual audioconference information for deadlines) must be phoned in to Customer Service at 877/727-1728. You may also e-mail customerservice@hcpro.com.

      For special reports, the shipping fee is a flat $5, no matter how many special reports you purchase in one order. For newsletters, the shipping fee is $24 for each newsletter.

      If you order multiple items with different shipping options, note that those shipping options will still apply. For example, if you order three newsletters and two books on one order, the shipping fee will be $90 ($72 for three newsletters + $18 for two books).

    5. What is your return or guarantee policy?

      Note that the return policy for HCPro differs from the various return policies of our vendors. Both HCPro and vendors sell products on the Healthcare Marketplace.

      HCPro Products

      HCPro products are fully guaranteed. If you are dissatisfied with a product for any reason, you may receive a full refund or credit by returning the item to:

      Please note that all HCPro products must be returned in their original condition and packaging (this is especially important for videos, CD-ROMs, audiotapes, and software). However, to qualify for full refund or credit, please adhere to the following return policy:

        All Videos or DVD must be returned within 10 days
        All Books must be returned within 30 days

      Vendor Products

      For vendor products, the return policies will depend upon the individual vendors. If you need to return a vendor product, please refer to the vendor return policy included in the shipping carton.

    6. Is Healthcare Marketplace a secure site?

      HCPro's Healthcare Marketplace respects the privacy of every individual who visits or is a member of hcmarketplace.com. HCPro's Healthcare Marketplace wants you to fully understand what information we gather about you, how that information is collected, and how that information is used, and how you can control the collection and/or use of information about you. So, please read our Security and Privacy Policy carefully.

    7. How do audioconferences work?

      Healthcare Marketplace's live audioconferences feature industry experts discussing the most crucial, up-to-the-minute, and controversial topics in healthcare, coupled with live audience participation. These interactive programs enable healthcare professionals from different locations throughout the country to call a designated telephone number and listen to a panel of experts via their telephone.

      The programs usually last 90 minutes, and a special block of time is set aside for audience Q&A (questions and answers). This convenient format provides a timely, low-cost way for healthcare professionals to share updates, alerts, expert advice, and analyses of current and emerging healthcare news and issues. And more importantly, an entire group can listen to an audioconference at the same time, from the same location, at no additional charge.

      Due to the time-sensitive nature of this product, registration cutoff is the Thursday prior to the audioconference. You must phone later orders in to Customer Service at 877/727-1728 (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time). You may also e-mail customerservice@hcpro.com. After registration, you will receive a link containing the URL to download an information packet that will include dialing instructions, an agenda, speaker biographies, and written data pertinent to the audioconference topic.
