films, they forgot one crucial thing: to send patients the results. The slipup
cost Medina General Hospital a level-1 violation, according to an FDA
representative from Ohio who inspected the site this summer. According
to Medina’s policy, interpretation of mammograms is delayed for up to two
weeks pending receipt of previous films. If, after two weeks, Medina has not
received the previous films, the radiologists interpret the mammograms.
