MEET THE SPEAKERS
Theresa A. Lang, R.N. BSN, WCC, is the Vice President of Clinical Consulting for Specialized Medical Service in Milwaukee, WI. She has worked in long term care for more than thirty years.
Lang has a broad range of experience including Medicare coverage and documentation, MDS Coding, sub-acute program development, and managed care contracting and pricing and is a frequent presenter for educational programs on PPS, MDS, and Managed Care nationwide.
Kate Brewer, PT, MBA, GCS, RAC-CT, is the President/Owner of Greenfield Rehabilitation Agency, which provides contract therapy services to skilled nursing facilities. She is also the President/Owner of Progressive Rehab Solutions, providing practical consulting services to rehabilitation professionals. Brewer has presented nationally on documentation, coding, and rehabilitation management issues and is a recognized expert in long-term care rehabilitation, as well as a member of the editorial board for HCPro’s Billing Alert for Long Term Care.
