AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE OR CD
Sponsored by Recruitment and Retention Monthly
presented on July 19, 2006
Sold! Online shifts bidding to staff nurses uses the eBay® auction model to:
- decrease dependence on contract labor
- increase staff morale and physician satisfaction
- improve recruitment and retention
<
The eBay® auction model is no longer just a useful tactic to sell collectables and antiques; healthcare facilities across the country are turning to online bidding to fill every shift with qualified staff.
How does shift bidding work and can it work for me? What are the benefits? How is it working in other facilities? Is this the answer to combating the nursing shortage or a short term fix?
You need evidence-based data to evaluate the effectiveness of this cutting-edge staffing technique—that’s why this audioconference is your exclusive opportunity to listen to experts who have successfully implemented and maintained this new staffing program and gauge whether it’s right for your facility.
Through best practices and a case study, our speakers provide an in-depth look at how to successfully set up and sustain this type of program. They’ll also share outcomes data showing the positive financial and relational impact that online shift bidding has on an organization and its employees.
