AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE OR CD
Sponsored by "How to Bill Medicare for Skilled Nursing Facilities"
presented on July 12, 2006
Under RUGs 53 many SNFs face a loss of $10 per resident per day! Don't deprive your facility of hard-earned funds. With the new Resource Utilization Group (RUG) system in effect since January 1, it has become more important than ever for nursing homes to ensure they receive the reimbursement they have earned. One way to help save your facility's bottom line is through proper revenue cycle management.
During this 90-minute audioconference, SNF Revenue Cycle Management under RUGs 53: Achieving Strong Financial Health in this Challenging New Environment, experts Kenneth Monahan, MHSA, NHA, and Barbara Griffin-Gulliver offer some important strategies for financial success under these straitened circumstances. They'll take you through the revenue cycle—from admission to accounts receivable—to help you determine whether your facility is bringing in all the revenue it's entitled to. You'll learn valuable tips to improve your facility's billing and coding, including best collections practices and advice on when not to pay claims from other providers or vendors.
