AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE
Sponsored by How to Recruit and Develop Physician Leaders
presented on May 18, 2005
Physician recruitment can be risky business.
Listen to "Recruit Physicians Without Landing in Jail." Our experts will show you how to recruit physicians effectively without violating the law and risking huge civil monetary damages, not to mention time in jail. <
It's true. The government is prosecuting hospitals and has individually named hospital administrators for physician recruitment practices that violate federal law. Recent Stark II regulations and high profile cases have thrown hospitals' physician recruitment strategies under the microscope. Case in point: The Alvarado Hospital criminal case in which one former hospital administrator has already pled guilty. A separate criminal prosecution against the hospital has ended in a hung jury, but the U. S. Attorney has promised to retry the case.
Fall out of line and you, too, could be facing thousands—even millions—of dollars in criminal penalties. Or worse, jail time. That's why you can't afford to miss this invaluable program.
