MEET THE SPEAKERS
Sandra J. Wolfskill, FHFMA, is president of Wolfskill & Associates, Inc., a healthcare receivables consulting firm. She has experience in healthcare financial management and consulting, including holding positions of vice president, senior consultant, director of patient financial services, director of information systems, and chief financial officer. She is the author of HCPro's newest book, Charity Care: Managing the Uninsured Population, has presented programs to national healthcare financial management conferences, and conducted seminars and training sessions throughout the country.
Alex McFadden is the director of patient financial services and patient access at West Virginia University Hospitals, where AR days have decreased from 140 to 56. His healthcare experience includes decision support and cost accounting, annual budget preparation, cost reporting, patient access, and patient financial services.
Amy Hamlin, RN, is the executive director of Volunteers in Medicine Institute, a position she has held since 1998. She is the former coordinator of elder services and director of the free clinic at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Burlington, VT, and has experience creating access to health care services for underserved populations.
