AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE OR CD
sponsored by Medical Staff Briefings
presented on May 25, 2006
Achieve medical staff satisfaction while significantly increasing inpatient volume!
There is a reason why executives of peak-performing facilities place the highest priority on retaining high-quality physicians.
Physician retention affects more than quality of care, reputation and admissions. The loss of a member of the medical staff to another hospital poses significant costs in replacement and recruitment. Further, once a physician is truly dissatisfied, they become a disruptive element to an organization, even if they don’t leave.
What motivates physician loyalty and satisfaction?
Find out from our Press-Ganey faculty in this audioconference. You’ll benefit from Press-Ganey’s analysis of loyalty metrics from more than 34,000 physicians nationwide to determine the top predictors of physician satisfaction . You’ll learn what factors make physicians more willing to recommend a facility to family, friends, and other physicians. You’ll learn that patient care, quality, and the administration trump technology in the eyes of physicians. And you’ll learn about the tremendous impact that re-engineered communication methods and processes can have on physician satisfaction.
At the end of this audioconference you will be able to
- outline an effective process for successfully gathering your own physician satisfaction data
- discuss the top issues that impact—positively or negatively—physician satisfaction with hospitals organizations
- describe the potential barriers to redesigning your organization’s communication plan with physicians, and discuss how to surmount them.
