ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Hugh Greeley is founder of The Greeley Company and has participated as a faculty member in over 2,500 seminars on the subjects of medical staff organization, quality improvement, credentialing, trustee responsibility, antitrust, accreditation, and other related subjects.
Rodney D. Raabe, MD, is the executive council for SIR (for 6 years). He has co-chaired the SIR / ASITN National Carotid STENT task force committee and started a National Screening Program for Peripheral arterial disease called "Legs for Life" (sponsored by SIR). Dr. Raabe is a investigator on multiple carotid stent research studies, as well as many other different types of research areas. He is also a trainer for Guidant and Cordis for physicians to learn carotid stenting.
Dr. Philip Hinton is a board certified surgeon, who practiced vascular surgery in Fresno, California for 22 years. Dr. Hinton has also served as president and CEO of Community Medical Centers in Fresno, CA from 1996 to 2005. As CEO, he grew Community from a 2 hospital 550-bed system to a 4-hospital 890-bed system with $680 million annual revenues and 6200 employees. Two of his four hospitals achieved PEP-C III top "3 star" rating for patient satisfaction in 2004.
