Patricia M. Pierce, ARNP, PhD, FAAN, has more than 25 years experience as a nurse educator. She is an educator at the Bay Pines VA Health Care System in St. Petersburg, FL, and is shared faculty to St. Petersburg College. During her long career in nursing education she has held faculty positions at the University of Texas, University of Florida, University of Tampa, St. Leo University, and the University of Phoenix.
