AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE OR CD
Sponsored by Strategies for Nurse Managers
presented on February 8, 2007
Strong, competent nurses need strong, competent leaders. But where will these leaders come from in the future?
In four years, 20% of nurse leaders will have retired. And in 14 years, the number of nurse leaders who will retire jumps to75%, according to a survey conducted by ERE.net. As the nursing workforce continues to age, the need to find nurse leaders for tomorrow has become imperative. Through early identification and education of qualified personnel, you can help groom the next generation for success.
Educators, nurse leaders, and managers need to learn the best strategies to identify and mold future leaders to replace them when they leave their positions. A solid succession planning program will do just that.
During this 90-minute audioconference, our speakers provide you with the knowledge and tools to construct and maintain a viable succession planning program that will both cultivate and train the next generation of nurse leaders.
