AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE OR CD
presented on April 6, 2007
The current shortage of nurse managers—due to job turnover, stress, and lack of leadership training—may be forcing you to hire and promote staff nurses into managerial positions for which they are unprepared. Incomplete training and lack of support could leave your nurse managers scrambling for answers, placing unnecessary stress on an already demanding position. The solution lies in creating a mentor program that will provide new nurse managers with the leadership skills and training they need to do their job successfully.
Support your new nurse managers with an effective mentor program.
