Case Management Services in the ED (Audio Conference)
How to Implement, Refine, and Evaluate Your Program
Product Description:
AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE OR CD
sponsored by Case Management Monthly
presented on April 11, 2007
Hospitals across the country are seeing extreme backup in the emergency department (ED). Sky-high wait times, increased denials, and uninsured patients who use the ED as their source of primary care—all lead to a decrease in patient satisfaction and quality of care.
In recent years, well-structured ED case management programs have repeatedly demonstrated their value in influencing capacity, assigning patients to appropriate levels of care, targeting complex discharge needs, and assisting with proper utilization review. Listen to HCPro's Case Management Services in the ED: How to Implement, Refine, and Evaluate your Program. During this 90-minute audioconference, our expert speakers provide case management professionals with the information and strategies they need to implement or refine their ED case management program, plus proven methods to evaluate its effectiveness.
