Kurt Hofelich, MPT, Vice president, Ambulatory Services, Sentara Healthcare, Norfolk VA. Mr. Hofelich is responsible for strategic planning, marketing, start-up implementation and operations of ambulatory services including the Sentara Rehab Network, Advanced Imaging Services, and Free Standing Emergency Services for Sentara Healthcare. He is operationally responsible for 32 facility locations across Hampton Roads, VA. Mr. Hofelich has been with Sentara Healthcare for 14 years.
Brian D. Matson, Director, Health Care Growth Practice, PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, Health Industries, Birmingham, AL. Mr. Matson has significant healthcare operational experience, with focus on the planning, development, and operation of freestanding outpatient and inpatient medical services. In addition, he has significant experience in the design and construction of facilities offering specialty hospital, ambulatory services, and physician medical office programs. He served as an Executive Director of Ambulatory Care and performed in a leadership role for the network of a large, regional health system in the state of Florida.
Troy Stockman, Operations director, Diagnostic Center, Alegent Health Mercy Hospital, Council Bluffs, IA. Mr. Stockman served as a radiographer and nuclear medicine technologist for the first 10 years at Mercy Hospital and he has been the director of that department for the last seven years. Currently, he serves as the senior chairman of the board of Directors for the Iowa Society of Radiologic Technologists and has spoken at many Radiologic Society conferences. He has served the American Society of Radiologic Technologists in many roles and has published two articles for the American Healthcare Radiology Administrator's Journal under the subject of PACS implementation. Mr. Stockman received his radiographic technologist certification from the US Army Reserves at the Academy of Health Sciences in Ft. Sam Houston, TX. He received his Bachelors degree in radiation sciences from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha upon completion of his training as a nuclear medicine technologist.
