HCPro’s annual Hospital Outpatient Wound Care Coding audioconference!
To reduce denied claims and avoid scrutiny by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and other watchdog organizations, you must follow strict guidelines for coding debridement and using active wound care management codes, as well as negative pressure wound therapy, ICD-9-CM diagnosis coding, and more.
During this program, our expert speakers will help you reduce denials with step-by-step strategies and tips, and provide advice to improve coding accuracy and compliance.
<
Covering the hottest issues in wound care coding—from the OIG Work Plan and debridement to ICD-9-CM and modifier –25 coding—this program will help you and your staff:
- Illustrate how to organize operations and review the changes of coding coverage and payment on an annual basis
- Explain issues that the OIG is looking at in wound care coding/compliance and how they are translating into denied claims and new, stricter LCDs
- Utilize the correct debridement codes, including surgical codes and selective and non-selective debridement codes
- Indicate the correct use of E/M codes when performed in addition to a procedure
- Develop a proper E/M leveling tool for your clinic/facility
NEW PARTICIPATION OPTION
In addition to the regular purchase options for HCPro audioconferences—audio tape or audio CD, we are pleased to offer a new option, an audio archive. Audio archive allows you to download the program and play it back at your convenience through your computer or MP3 player.
