Product Description:

Introduction to common circulatory diseases: hypertension, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and the various types of procedures performed to treat the various diseases such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTCA), and stent placement. This module will provide a basic overview of the disease process, associated signs and symptoms, diagnostic treatment options, and specific coding guidelines for reporting codes from this chapter of the ICD-9-CM coding manual.
