WEBCAST ON CD

You will get so much more than CPT codes.
A coronary CTA, or computed tomography angiogram, is a new imaging technique that gives doctors incredible images of coronary arteries, noninvasively and allows them to better manage heart disease. Unfortunately, the reimbursement picture is not nearly as clear.
In order to appropriately code and bill for these services, hospital and physician practice coding/compliance staff have to be familiar with the following:
- new technology
- patient anatomy
- coding guidelines
- associated CCI edits
- widely differing coverage policies
They must be able to find coding cues in physician documentation, as well as know when documentation is lacking and clarification is needed. This can be especially challenging when dealing with a new procedure like cardiac CTA. Most payers don’t have coverage on the new procedure yet—some may even be marking it as investigational, forcing practices to have to explain its merit. Furthermore, this procedure does not have relative value units (RVUs) so payors have nothing on which to base reimbursement.
This is your source for state coverage.
Don’t waste precious hours researching! Listen to HCPro and industry experts as we help you sort through all the information and help you get the correct reimbursement. This 90-minute webcast offers reimbursement guidance on the state and national level. We will also help you determine what is separately billable and what is not. You will walk away with a solid basis for successfully coding and collecting the proper reimbursement for coronary CTA.
PROGRAM AGENDA
