The course features Joshua Elvove, a former Joint Commission life safety specialist, and Peter Leszczak, a long-time safety and fire protection engineer for the US Department of Veteran Affairs.
Every Medicare-certified hospital must adhere to the 2000 Life Safety Code® in order to receive reimbursement. The Joint Commission also requires hospitals to observe the Life Safety Code in order to maintain accreditation.
