Successfully manage urinary incontinence without unnecessary drug use
Incontinence remains one of the most common problems faced by long-term care facilities today. In addition to the clinical implications, rehabilitative challenges, and financial burdens, you must also contend with the delicate issues of resident dignity. Wouldn’t it be great to have an expert teach you not only proper compliance strategies for F-tag #315, but also how to manage these unique quality of life problems?
Listen to HCPro and two industry experts for this 90 minute audioconference, Incontinence Management Under Surveyor Scrutiny: Making F-tag #315 work for your SNF. During this program you will be provided with an explanation of each pertinent aspect of F-tag #315, CMS’ guidance for incontinence management, including how to develop urinary incontinence programs with the participation of your entire interdisciplinary team. A cutting edge program requires a progressive understanding of UI—and that tried-and-true incontinence strategies must combine with new techniques to better manage the problem in long-term care residents.
