AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE, CD OR AUDIO ARCHIVE
Sponsored by The 2008 ICD-9-CM Training Kit
presented on August 24, 2007
HCPro’s annual ICD-9-CM program receives rave reviews—here's what a few particiants from last year's show had to say:
"It’s great having a physician who understands coding providing education"
"Very good audioconference, very informative"
"Appreciated the explanations of the different clinical concepts that drive the new codes"
You need to start using the new and revised ICD-9-CM codes by October 1st. Spend 90 minutes with us and learn how to implement the new codes into your current system.
This show provides an overview of the new diagnosis and procedure codes, such as dysphagia; herpes; lymphoma; cardiac tamponade; and aseptic necrosis of bone, jaw, and more—and explanations of exactly how and when to use them.
Our two nationally recognized speakers, Dr. Robert Gold and Gloryanne Bryant, review all the coding changes to help you:
- Identify the 2008 changes, including information on new and revised codes, and the rationale for code assignment from a clinical standpoint
- Organize ideas, suggestions, and tools to communicate changes to your physician staff
- Secure complete and efficient implementation of the revised codes into your existing system
- Explain key changes/updates
NOTE: Participants should have a working knowledge of ICD-9-CM coding.
