FACULTY

Tim Porter-O'Grady, DM, EdD, APRN, FAAN, is a senior partner at Tim Porter-O'Grady Associates, Inc, an international healthcare consulting firm in Atlanta, GA. He has 37 years experience in healthcare and has held roles from staff nurse to senior executive in a variety of healthcare settings. He is also associate professor and leadership scholar in the College of Nursing and Healthcare Innovation, Arizona State University, visiting professor at University of Maryland and is an adjunct professor at Lakehead University of Ontario, Canada.

Kim S. Hitchings, MSN, RN, CNAA, BC, is the manager of the Center for Professional Excellence, Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network in Allentown, PA. She is the organization's ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®* Project Director and directs the Friends of Nursing program, a philanthropic foundation to promote and recognize nursing excellence. She was the principal investigator for a research study to develop a model specific tool to measure the developmental stage of a shared governance model.
