New Directions in Disease Management: Solutions to Overcoming Physician Resistance
AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE, CD OR AUDIO ARCHIVE

Physician involvement can make or break a disease management program
Everything can be in place. You can offer health-risk assessments, incentives for patients to undergo physical examination, and provide remote call-center-based triage. And yet it will not be as effective as it could be if you cannot get primary care physicians to buy in to the merits of your program. Doctors can see a disease management program as an intrusion on their turf and provide more of an obstacle to your services than a conduit.
Don’t let this happen.
Listen to HCPro for this 60-minute audioconference where you will learn how to effectively overcome physician resistance to your program. You will discover innovative ideas and solutions which you can then take back and apply to your own program. Three healthcare management experts will present their practical experiences and share successful strategies for teaming with doctors to make disease management a partner in primary care.
