Outpatient Therapy and The PQRI
Product Description:
AUDIOCONFERENCE ON TAPE , CD OR AUDIO ARCHIVE
Sponsored by The How-To Manual for Rehab Documentation, Second Edition
presented on August 30, 2007
Participation in the PQRI equals increased reimbursement and improved quality.
A winning combination.
The Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI) for 2007 is in place for dates of service from July 1, 2007 – December 31, 2007. Therapists, if you want to increase your revenue, improve your profit, provide better patient care, and learn how to document Measure #4, Screening for Future Fall Risk, (the only measure available for physical and occupational therapy) this audioconference is for you.
You wouldn’t say no to additional reimbursement dollars, right?
Reporting on Measure #4 could result in an increased bottom line for your practice if done the correct way. But it is up to you to participate.
Listen to HCPro and expert speaker Nancy Beckley, MS, MBA, CHC, for this 90-minute audioconference. You will receive a full, factual explanation of the PQRI and how it relates to physical and occupational therapy. We’ll give you strategic advice on how to comply with this initiative, how to code correctly, and the documentation it will require for the 1.5% bonus.
*At this time there are no provisions for those therapy providers using the UB-92 and the UB-04 to report on the PQRI.
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Understand what the PQRI means for therapists
- Identify how to use the measure and code a claim properly
- Understand how to institute a facility PQRI initiative and track bonus payments
- Understand how to develop and improve reporting documentation
- Differentiate between PQRI and outcomes
