Deborah Grider, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-P, CCS-P, EMS, is the president of Medical Professionals, Inc., in Indianapolis, IN, a full-service consulting agency providing physician and long-term care coding support, auditing, and training. She brings more than 30 years of experience in practice management, insurance, coding, reimbursement education, and consulting and gives lectures across the country. She has served as an expert witness in various legal cases involving coding and reimbursement. She is President of the American Academy of Professional Coders National Advisory Board. Deborah is a Certified Professional Coder, Certified Professional Coder-Hospital, Certified Professional Coder-Payer, and an E/M Specialist with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
