AUDIOCONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ARCHIVE
This program is sponsored by RADAR Medical Systems – radarmed.com
presented on October 22, 2007
Are you having trouble tracking the time between when nursing is notified of a critical test result and when the physician responds? Do you know which tests should be marked stat? Confused? So are a lot of your colleagues. Compliance on nearly all Joint Commission (formerly known as JCAHO) goals for the first quarter of 2007 went up with one exception – critical test reporting (CTR). Effective communication of critical test results is more than a Joint Commission goal – it’s a requirement for patient safety. Hospitals struggle with properly identifying results and getting them to physicians quickly enough. Our expert speakers address these critical issues to help improve your hospital’s patient care and boost Joint Commission compliance.
Improve the timely and effective communication of critical test results.
Listen to HCPro's Critical Test Results: How to boost patient safety and comply with Joint Commission requirements. During this 90-minute audioconference, expert speakers Vineet Arora MD, MA, and Julie K. Johnson, M.S.P.H., Ph.D., combine theory with reality to provide listeners with the tools and information needed to improve critical test results.
