Ineffective committee meetings and lack of physician support can lead to wasted time, non-compliance risk, and a negative impact on your facility’s bottom line. Learn how to drive quality by increasing committee effectiveness.
Listen to HCPro's Optimize Credentialing and MEC Meetings: Achieve effectiveness through MSP/med staff collaboration and gain the tools you need to make your committees more efficient and productive.
The evolving roles of credentialing coordinators and MSPs in medical executive committee (MEC) and credentials committee meetings go far beyond sending notices, preparing agendas and taking minutes. Every meeting presents an opportunity for MSPs to lend their unique expertise to medical staff leaders for the purpose of making these meetings more productive and efficient. Medical staff leaders, likewise, can benefit from tapping into MSPs' experience in instructing new committee members on their roles and responsibilities. After all, committee membership turns over frequently and MSPs often are the only constant in the process. This audio shows both sides how they can collaborate to achieve the best results.
