AUDIOCONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ARCHIVE
Sponsored by Ambulatory Surgery Compliance and Reimbursement Insider
presented on December 14, 2007
Will you gain or lose reimbursement under the new ASC payment system?
The change to the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) payment system means more than just reimbursement. Now you need to evaluate the services you provide and consider adding new specialties or cutting others to maintain a profitable practice.
Starting on January 1, 2008, the new ASC payment system takes effect — you could be paid less for services you received higher reimbursement for the day before. That’s why it’s vital to your facility’s financial integrity to know where you stand once these rules are put in place.
In just 90-minutes, our speakers tell you who will gain revenue under the new system— and who will lose it. You’ll listen to an in-depth analysis of three different specialties: one with revenue set to increase, one with revenue set to decrease, and another that will lose revenue in some areas but gain it in others. This information will help you determine the reimbursement impact on your facility and what types of financial decisions would be in your best interest. Plus, you will learn concrete steps you can put into action to improve your reimbursement immediately.
