Do you find yourself with limited resources, and yet still under pressure for rapid yet accurate primary source verifications?
At initial credentialing and reappointment, most MSPs are under pressure to conduct primary source verifications (PSV) with limited resources and tight deadlines. This can make it difficult to gather the data you truly need to help the credentials committee assess a candidate which can lead to liability for negligent credentialing and associations with disruptive doctors.
Assure patient safety and regulatory compliance with a process that is fast and accurate!
Join HCPro on Tuesday, January 8, for End Verification Requirement Headaches: Use technology and legal precedent to collect “just right” data, and learn essential skills and data collection methods to streamline your primary source verification process:
- Identify what it is you are attempting to learn about a candidate and the best method to capture that data
- Translate the ambiguous criteria set by medical staff leaders and regulatory standards and put it into practice in the MSO
- Collaborate with the credentials committee to implement more useful PSV procedures
- Decide how far back to go when conducting PSV and create letters tailored for your needs
- Use technology to expedite the process and use recent legal cases as your guiding light during verifications
- Learn how to deal with special circumstances
