AUDIOCONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ARCHIVE
Sponsored by Managed Care Contracting and Reimbursement Advisor
presented on January 9, 2008
Much is at stake with the growing use of efficiency measurement standards in pay for performance programs. These tools go a long way in illustrating such issues as variation between doctors, and pricing transparency. Health plans are implementing these tools to accurately gauge their provider networks, but lingering questions remain: How will a practice be measured? What can you be doing to proactively prepare for their arrival? How will you be able to convince the physicians you work with that the standards are relevant and cost-effective, but that they are fair.
Listen to this 60-minute audioconference “Pay for Performance Efficiency Measurements: Tips and tools for successful preparation.” Physicians Michael van Duren, MD, and Mark Rattray, MDdiscuss how you can avoid mistakes in the implementation of these tools, and how you can prepare a response for whatever shortcomings they uncover. Poor attention to the details of these tools could alienate physicians from aligning with your plan in the future and damage your professional credibility. Our experts will help you navigate through the potential pitfalls and have you ready to establish a comprehensive quality improvement undertaking rather than just crunching numbers and throwing them out for the world to see.
At the end of this audioconference, you will be able to:
