Are you truly prepared for the new world of MS-DRGs?
Can you afford to lose money on 50% of your pneumonia cases? Are you aware of the subtleties that exist with length of stay, and that different tenets apply with fee-for-service Medicare patients? Changes are on the horizon for the way MS-DRGs are handled and you need to be aware of how these modifications will impact your bottom line. Implementation of the reimbursement system affects several departments in your facility, and preparation is imperative to ensure you do not have any obstacles which will prevent prompt, accurate payment.
