Meet the Speakers
Betsy S. Woodall, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, is a Senior Manager within the Professional Education Support Department for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals located in Collegeville, PA. She is responsible for the strategic alignment of evidence-based independent education grants with the scientific interests of patients, health care professionals, and Wyeth, specific to rheumatoid arthritis, constipation, and vaccines. Prior to joining the Professional Education Support team, Dr. Woodall was a Medical Communications Scientist in Wyeth’s Medical Affairs Department, where she evaluated all medical literature related to menopause, osteoporosis, and contraception.
Kathleen Peterson, Esq. is an associate in the Health Care and Life Sciences Practice in Epstein Becker & Green’s Washington, DC office where she practices in the Pharmaceutical Industry Health Regulatory Practice Group. In addition to her experience at Epstein Becker & Green, Ms. Peterson served as Senior Corporate Counsel to a small pharmaceutical company. Her work experience includes providing health regulatory counsel to pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, PBMs, managed care organizations, GPOs, medical education companies, and investment firms on a wide range of legal issues.
