Meet the Author
Lisa Khanna, RN, BSN, is a patient safety officer at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA. Her duties include promoting a culture of safety, ensuring that staff members are staying current with The Joint Commission's National Patient Safety Goals, and collecting and aggregating patient-safety related data, among other items. During her career Khanna has worked as a nurse in both staff and supervisory roles at various institutions as well as the Quality Improvement Coordinator and the Director of Quality at two other Massachusetts facilities.
