MEET THE SPEAKERS
Joseph Cooper, MD, is a senior consultant with The Greeley Company. He is a physician executive with over 20 years of experience in medical staff organization and function, reengineering, bylaws review and design, peer review, and credentialing and privileging. Dr. Cooper has successfully led redesign projects, been involved with fair hearings, worked to enhance physician-board relations, and developed a medical staff leadership program and communication vehicles. Dr. Cooper co-authored The Greeley Company Guide to Medical Staff Bylaws.
William K. Cors, MD, MMM, FACPE, is an experienced physician executive with a background that includes fifteen years clinical practice and over twelve years of executive hospital/health system management, as well as experience as a healthcare consultant. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant for The Greeley Company, a division of HCPro in Marblehead, Massachusetts. In addition to working with medical staffs, hospitals and boards across the country, he has also authored or co-authored numerous publications.
Mary J. Hoppa, MD, MBA, is a senior consultant at The Greeley Company. She brings over 15 years of healthcare leadership and management experience to her work with physicians, hospitals, and healthcare organizations across the country. Dr. Hoppa's roles in hospital administration and medical staff leadership in academic and community hospital settings make her uniquely qualified to assist physicians and medical centers in developing effective solutions to their most significant challenges. She has an expertise in quality, peer review, regulatory, risk management, credentialing, infection control, medical records, operational re-engineering, and care coordination. She is co-author of The MEC Handbook and Medical Staff Leaders Practical Guide.
