AUDIOCONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ARCHIVE
Sponsored by HCPro
presented on March 25, 2008
Does The Joint Commission require hospitals to be self-sustaining for 96 hours. No, it does not.
It expects facilities to determine whether they can survive for that period, and if they can’t, what steps they’ll take in a catastrophe.
But many emergency planners don’t quite understand the standard, or what it means for their facilities. Listen to this 90-minute audioconference and learn why from former Joint Commission Vice President Joe Cappiello and veteran safety and compliance experts Peggy Luebbert and Patrick Wade. They'll tell you how to prepare your facility for this requirement—and, while you’re at it, measure whether you can maintain facility functionality no matter what disaster you may be facing. Learn more about just-in-time inventories, evacuations, exercises, and drills.
BONUS TOOLS
