AUDIOCONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ON-DEMAND
Sponsored by Briefings on APCs

presented on April 10, 2008

Don’t waste time or resources managing the new
ESA transmittal requirements—we’ve already done the work for you!

CMS’ new series of transmittals about erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA) pre-administration services delivered a host of complex operational issues that you have to master. There are billing issues that are dependent on meeting strict medical necessity requirements, modifier requirements for coding staff, managing preauthorization and advance beneficiary notice (ABN) requirements, and more.

As with every new CMS transmittal, someone on your staff has to take the time to read them, dissect them, determine how they apply to your facility, and take steps to implement the new requirements. With everything else you have on your plate, turning transmittal requirements into action steps, and following through to make sure all of the demands are being met can rob you of valuable time and resources.

Listen to HCPro for this important 90-minute audioconference. Our two expert speakers bring both billing and clinical perspectives to the table, so you can be confident that you’ll learn exactly what you need to know to implement and operationalize the ESA requirements, not only among your coding and billing staff, but your clinical staff and oncology physicians as well.
