AUDIOCONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ARCHIVE
Sponsored by CNA Training Solution Video: Alzheimer's Disease
presented on April 30, 2008
It can be difficult for nursing homes to provide quality care for residents suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Caring for them can be significantly more expensive and labor intensive than caring for other nursing home residents--especially when you consider that Medicare coverage can be easier for Alzheimer's residents to obtain which can result in longer resident stays and bigger workloads for staff members.
Address the unique needs of the Alzheimer's resident and the requirements of staff with strategies from industry expert Kelly Smith Papa, RN, MSN, during the audioconference Person-Centered Care for the Alzheimer Resident: Interventions that Support Both the Residents’ and Facility’s Needs.
