AUDIOCONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ON-DEMAND
Sponsored by Survey Prep Boot Camp
presented on June 18, 2008
The most significant change to the long-term care survey process since OBRA 87! Is your facility ready?
The Quality Indicator Survey is a new process, researched and developed by CMS and its expert contractors over the last several years. The QIS intends to compel surveyor objectivity, by using a computer-based analysis to arrive at conclusions about quality of care and life. Under this new system, surveyors use computer-selected samples, larger samples, improved interview techniques, structured approaches to care observation and documentation that will ensure more accurate and fairer survey results.
With this increased scrutiny from CMS you must prepare early, understand the potential impact on your facility, and incorporate the information into your QA processes now.
Get ready for the Quality Indicator Survey
Start preparing now by listening to Get Ready for the Quality Indicator Survey: Best Practices to Prepare Early and Understand the Impact on Your Facility, a 90-minute audioconference. Our regulatory experts Diane L. Brown and Maureen A. Wern offer tips and advice for those still under traditional survey and for those who have adopted the process completely. Sign up today and increase your staff member awareness of the relationship between Minimum Data Set (MDS) reports, care plans, and the new QIS survey process.
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
