Bell, MD, MS, FAAFP, is clinical professor of family medicine and serves as whole time associate dean for faculty development and evaluation at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. Dr. Bell also directs LECOM’s Teaching and Learning Center, a “school within a school” dedicated to research and practice in medical education.

William A. Donohue, Ph.D, is a distinguished professor of communication at Michigan State University, working primarily in the areas of mediation and crisis negotiation. Dr. Donohue also maintains an extensive professional practice in the evaluation of medical residents surrounding the ACGME/AOA competencies and is co-founder of Medical Professional Performance Systems, a company established to create medical education curricula focusing on the developmental competencies.
