Leadership and Coaching Skills for Nurse Managers

The purpose of this online education program is to provide directors of nursing with tools to instruct and prepare new nurse managers (and nurse managers who may not have received such training) with foundational coaching and leadership skills. Many nurse managers are placed in a role for which they are unprepared.

- Discuss tips for increasing the work output of employees
- List at least six ways a manager can establish a coaching environment
