New CMS Nutrition and Sanitation Guidelines in Action

Product Description:

AUDIO CONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ON-DEMAND

Sponsored by The Long-Term Care State Operations Manual

presented on August 26, 2008

Revisions to F-Tags 325 and 371 take effect as of September 1, 2008.
Get your staff up to speed on the new changes!

Under the revised surveyor guidance regarding nutrition and sanitary conditions, F-Tag 326 will be deleted and incorporated into F-Tag 325. The revisions also delete F-Tag 370 and fold the changes into F-Tag 371, which is projected to cause considerable confusion.

Noncompliance with these two F-Tags places residents at risk for more than minimal harm. Therefore, Severity Level 1 for Deficiency Categorization will not apply for these regulatory requirements. Noncompliance will result in a Severity Level 2, 3, or 4 for the facility.

So what changes do you need to make in order to comply with the new F-Tags and avoid citations? Find out by listening to New CMS Nutrition and Sanitation Guidelines in Action: Master revised F-Tags 325 and 371..
