AUDIO CONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ON-DEMAND
Sponsored by HCPro's Resource Center for the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®*
presented on September 11, 2008
Safeguard your reputation and reimbursement by engaging your nurses in quality improvement
An ineffective quality improvement (QI) program can hurt two main objectives for a hospital: its reputation and reimbursement. It can also cost a facility ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® status. But even with such importance riding on the success of QI, many facilities still struggle to bring bedside nurses on board.
Listen to HCPro's 90 minute audio conference, Nursing’s Role in Quality Improvement: Unit-Based Ways to Inspire Staff to Collect Data, Benchmark Results, and Conduct Projects. This program gives you the tools—including scorecards and dashboards—to educate, engage, and hold nursing staff accountable for their role in QI. Expert speakers Barbara J. Hannon, RN, MSN, CPHQ, and Sharon Courage, RN, MPH, teach you to:
- Distinguish between evidence-based practice, QI, and PI
