Get a preview of the 2009 OIG Work Plan
The Office of Inspector General's (OIG) annual Work Plan provides a preview of the areas investigators will focus on in 2009. Physician practice compliance professionals can take advantage of this information to find out what high-risk areas are on the OIG's radar. Once you're equipped with this knowledge, you can position staff and resources ahead of the investigations outlined in the Work Plan.
Join HCPro for the live 90-minute audio conference Analyzing the 2009 OIG Work Plan: Strategies for Physician Practice Compliance on Thursday, November 20. Healthcare consultant James Kopf (Healthcare Oversight, Inc.), attorney Sidney Welch, Esq. (Arnall Golden Gregory LLP), and regulatory specialist Peggy S. Blue, MPH, CPC (HCPro), will review guidelines set forth in the 2009 Work Plan and detail how physician practice professionals can prepare for it.
Our expert panel will explain important new developments in the 2009 Work Plan, and explore concerns from prior years that remain on the OIG's priority list. This roundtable discussion will help you develop a risk assessment for your physician practice specific to this year's Work Plan, plus you'll be able to develop action items for your 2009 Work Plan audit.
