Audio Conference on CD or Audio on-Demand
Sponsored by JustCoding.com
presented on December 2, 2008
Do you have time to make sense of the hundreds of new CPT code changes for 2009? Our experts do.
This year the American Medical Association announced that CPT 2009 will include 294 new codes, 133 revised codes, and 92 deleted codes. If you are like most coding professionals, you don’t have time to dissect and understand them all.
Don't scramble to implement new codes at the end of the year.
This 120-minute audio conference focuses on the new, revised, and deleted CPT codes for 2009. Our expert speakers show you how the CPT coding system has been updated for 2009 so you can be ready to assign the appropriate codes for services provided. In addition, we provide the latest information from the American Medical Association's CPT Symposium on November 13 and 14, giving you an insider's look at the changes.
At the end of this audio conference, your staff will be able to:
- Identify which sections of the CPT manual saw the greatest number of revisions
- Demonstrate how and when to use the new CPT codes
- Explain the rationale for the changes for 2009
