The hospital wants quality, physicians want quality—here’s where to meet
Both hospital administration and physicians agree on the need for constant quality improvement, but there are barriers: poor communication, misaligned physician incentives, weak infrastructure for quality, and lack of common and transparent goals.
During this HealthLeaders Media webcast, you’ll hear from a medical director of quality, a physician executive, and a quality performance/safety executive who have guided their organizations through proven strategies that bring together hospitals and physicians in cohesive plans, including:
- Identifying shared quality and safety goals for hospital and physicians
- Describing strategies and incentives that engage physicians
- Sharing proven methods for engaging administrators and physicians in meaningful dialogue
- Building the infrastructure base to support hospital quality
- Showing how transparency in the use of data results in improved outcomes in a short time frame
