David T. Brooks, FACHE
David T. Brooks is currently the Chief Executive Officer for Providence Health and Service’s Northwest Washington Service Area. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a faith-based delivery system that contains the 362-bed tertiary hospital, Providence Everett Medical Center, Providence Physicians Group, a multi-specialty group practice and other related healthcare services. He joined Providence in 2004.
Prior to his current role, he was the COO at Central DuPage Health in the western suburbs of Chicago. He has also served in executive roles at CHRISTUS Health in Texas, Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque and for 10 years at Henry Ford Health System in his hometown of Detroit.
Bruce C. Vladeck, Ph.D.
Bruce C. Vladeck, Ph.D., is currently an Executive Director with Ernst and Young’s Health Sciences Advisory Services (HSAS) practice. Vladeck serves as a Senior Health Policy Advisor as well as East Coast Director for the firm’s Academic Medical Center (AMC) service line.
Vladeck was also Administrator of the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA). In that position, he directed the Medicare and Medicaid programs, providing health insurance to more than 65 million Americans with combined annual expenditures of more than $300 billion.
Before joining the federal government, Vladeck served ten years as President of the United Hospital Fund of New York. He also held positions on the faculty of Columbia University and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation where he was Assistant Commissioner of the New Jersey State Department of Health.
