What Your Practice is Worth: Calculating Fair Market Value

presented on December 16, 2008

What is the true worth of your practice?  We will demystify the evaluation process.

As mergers become increasingly popular in a struggling economy, and practices move to address a looming physician shortage, determining your practice’s value should be an important part of your future plans. Listen to two leading experts who present case studies and tips about ways to determine the fair market value of your practice. You will learn how to:

  • Determine what information and data each party to the process will need to begin the process
  • Demonstrate a more effective role in the fair market value process
  • Identify the drivers of a physician practice that will  impact the determination of fair market value

Listen to HealthLeaders Media for this 60-minute audio conference to learn how to determine the value of your practice. Our speakers discuss the various legal implications relating to fair market value assessment, and review the importance of determining your practice value by reviewing hard assets, cash, accounts receivable, and goodwill.
