Interview Techniques Under QIS and MDS 3.0: Build the Necessary Skills Now
Product Description:
AUDIO CONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ON-DEMAND
Sponsored by The Quality Indicator Survey Manual
presented on December 11, 2008
Give your staff the skills to ask the right questions, provide the correct answers and thrive under MDS 3.0 and QIS.
Resident voice and choice matter now more than ever. Under the new Quality Indicator Survey (QIS) surveyors will be interviewing residents, family and staff members. Under the MDS 3.0 your staff members will be conducting interviews of residents and families in order to gain a clear picture of the resident’s unique needs. The results of these interviews will be used to determine the appropriate care plan and have a big impact on your reimbursement and survey results.
The challenge is preparing your staff members to conduct successful interviews and preparing residents, family, and staff members to be interviewed by surveyors. With limited training available, where do you turn? There is too much at stake. Give your staff members the skills they need NOW.
Interviewing is not easy. It requires so much more than asking questions.
