MEET THE SPEAKERS
Kirk Mathews is CEO, principal, and founder of Inpatient Management Inc. (IMI). Prior to co-founding IMI in 1997, Mathews was senior vice president of Cejka & Company, responsible for managing one of the nation's largest physician recruiting enterprises with a search portfolio of over 300 clients. His nearly two decades of physician recruiting and healthcare experience include management, sales, operations, recruiting strategy, physician compensation/benefits planning and design, and employment contract design and negotiations.
Carole Montgomery, MD, has been practicing as a hospitalist since finishing her internal medicine residency in 1990 at Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Montgomery is the physician site leader for the Grand Rapids hospitalist division of Michigan Medical, P.C., a physician-owned multi-specialty group. Under her leadership, the division has grown from 3 physicians in 1998 to its current size of 22 physicians and 10 mid-levels, caring for approximately 9,000 patients per year.
