RAC Readiness: Develop an Effective Audit Tracking System
Product Description:
AUDIO CONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ON-DEMAND
Sponsored by:CPR Technologies
presented on January 6, 2009
Despite a delay because of contractor protests, RACs are inevitable, and the burden now falls on your facility to protect your reimbursement dollars. Medicare's Recovery Audit Contractors (RACs) collected more than $1 billion in improper payments to providers in the three-year demonstration project and will soon roll out nationwide. Analysts say the Medicare Trust Fund will be bankrupt in less than 10 years, and contractors will be aggressive in recovering overpayments.
