MEET THE SPEAKERS

Kimberly Anderwood Hoy, JD, CPC. Ms. Hoy is the director of Medicare and compliance for HCPro, Inc., and a lead consultant for its' Revenue Cycle Institute. Prior to joining HCPro, she was the lead instructor for HRAI's Medicare Boot Camp® - Hospital Version. Hoy has served as a compliance officer and in-house legal counsel for hospitals and has developed and implemented corporate-wide compliance programs for two hospitals. She also speaks at national conferences on observation services.

Catherine Pallozzi, CHAM, CCS, is the director of patient access at Albany (NY) Medical Center, where she has worked for 20 years. She was promoted to registration director in 1998, and has been the director of patient access for eight years. She has been instrumental in three significant system implementations—including billing and ADT system installs—and continues to play a key role in the maintenance, monitoring and ongoing development of these systems.
